Welcome to Dext’s release round-up. We’ll be detailing the latest features and giving you a sneak peek at what’s on the way for our business customers. You can also find out more about our plans to combine our three products into one integrated Dext experience.
Dext has announced several exciting updates to its platform, aimed at enhancing user experience and streamlining business processes. Here's a breakdown of what's new:
Approvals Feature
Now available in the UK, Australia, Canada, and the US, Dext's new Approvals feature for cost items simplifies the approval process, providing greater accuracy and internal controls. This feature ensures only authorized purchases are recorded, boosting efficiency and compliance by allowing digital approvals from anywhere in the world.
Updated Roles and Permissions
Dext has also updated roles and permissions, offering more tailored access to users. Admins can now assign one of three roles: Business Admins, User Admins, and Standard Users, giving businesses greater control and flexibility over who can view and manage financial data.
Mileage Tracking
Coming soon to the Dext platform, Mileage Tracking will allow businesses to automate trip tracking and expense claims. This feature will simplify mileage tracking by calculating claims based on approved rates, ensuring accuracy and compliance with company policies.
Vault
Dext has introduced Vault, a secure space for businesses to store key documents such as contracts, leases, and insurance policies. With features like document summarization, reminders, and automatic linking, Vault helps businesses stay organized and manage documents more efficiently.
The Evolution of Dext
In September, Dext launched an enhanced platform experience with simplified navigation and improved design. The next phase will include Dext Precision and Dext Commerce features, allowing businesses to manage data health, clean-up tools, and connect with e-commerce platforms like Shopify for automated syncing.
Dext Payments (Coming in 2025)
Set for release in 2025, Dext Payments will build on the Approvals feature, allowing businesses to automate the payment of invoices and expense claims directly within the platform.
Recent Releases: Supplier Statements
Since its launch, the Supplier Statements feature has been used by over 10,000 users, automating statement reconciliation and ensuring accurate financial records.
Dext continues to evolve, aiming to improve business processes and provide cutting-edge solutions for financial management. Stay tuned for more updates!
