Katie Hawking, Head of Practice Solutions & Sales Enablement at Dext. Katie joined Dext in January 2021 having spent 13 years in practice, specialising in small business development and focusing over the last 5 years on the digital transformation project for the 5 office firm. Katie spear headed the navigation through the app marketplace, developing a tech advisory offering and getting the firm MTD for VAT ready. She then spent 3 years working for one of the worlds largest cloud accounting software platforms as a partner consultant and then practice solutions specialist, supporting and advising a large number of accounting firms across the UK.
Max Whiteley, Product Domain Expert at Dext. Max has a passion to improve the accounting industry and the lives of business owners. With 12 years of experience working in practice, Max specialised in digital transformation and cloud accounting. Having come from a family of small business owners, Max takes great pride in helping owners spend more time ON their business rather than IN it. Max recently joined Dext from Accounts and Legal where he headed up their Liverpool office, helping them create a northern presence that grew to 40 members of staff during that period. Max is a two time Xero 'Large firm of the year' winner, and will provide valuable insight to Dext to ensure the product meets the needs of the industry in his new role as Product Domain Expert.
Will Farnell is founder of Farnell Clarke, one of the first 100% cloud-based firms globally way back on 2009. Will is also co-founder of App Advisory Plus and author of The Digital Firm and the more recent book The Human Firm published by Sage. Will is a respected speaker and mentor to accounting firms globally.
