Cloud accounting provider iplicit Ltd has achieved G-Cloud 14 status in the UK.

This prestigious recognition places iplicit within the government’s digital marketplace, prominently positioning it before public sector bodies and charities in search of IT services.

The G-Cloud framework significantly reduces time and costs for these organisations by offering a vetted list of suppliers and standardised contracts, thereby eliminating the need for a comprehensive tender process.

iplicit is listed on G-Cloud 14 under the following headings:

  • Students’ unions

  • Further education colleges

  • Housing associations

  • Nonprofits and charities

  • Multi-academy trusts

  • Finance and accounting software.

The software business recently won a place in the Deloitte UK Technology Fast 50 list of the nation’s fastest-growing tech businesses.

iplicit CEO Lyndon Stickley said: “This esteemed recognition underscores iplicit’s unwavering commitment to delivering innovative and reliable solutions to the public sector.

“The qualification process for G-Cloud 14 was rigorous, and being approved as a vendor on this platform, that only allows new entrants every two years, is a milestone worth celebrating.

“This achievement reflects our dedication to providing high-quality services that meet the evolving needs of our clients. We look forward to continuing our work with public sector organisations to drive digital transformation and enhance efficiency.

“As a leader in both the nonprofit and education sectors, within our field, G-Cloud approval provides another channel for the procurement process for many of our target audience. Furthermore, as our product appeal expands among public sector institutions, we are now more accessible to them.”

Participation in the G-Cloud 14 framework enables iplicit to offer its software to a broader range of clients mandated to use tender platforms for procurement, ensuring they have access to the best available technology and services.

Launched in 2019, iplicit primarily serves organisations with legacy, on-premises finance software that need to transition to the cloud but have requirements beyond entry-level systems like Xero and prefer to avoid the expense and disruption associated with products such as NetSuite.

Its ability to automate common finance tasks, as well as drastically improve reporting and management information, quickly won it a following among nonprofits and charities soon after its launch. It has since tailored its offering for school multi-academy trusts and to win a succession of customers among students’ unions, FE colleges and housing associations.

iplicit has experienced triple-digit growth annually. In 2024, it was ranked 18th among UK companies in the FT1000 list of Europe’s fastest-growing businesses and earned a top 10 position in the Sunday Times Best Places to Work.
